What is the dress code for the wedding?
Elegant attire is preferred. Anything between business casual and cocktail attire is fine. Please avoid jeans, shorts, and polo shirts.
What’s the idea behind the time capsule?
As part of the ceremony, we’d love to fill a time capsule (aluminum box) together with you, which we’ll open five years after the wedding. The box’s interior dimensions are approximately 40 cm wide x 30 cm deep x 20 cm high. The box will remain in Germany and will likely be opened by us during a visit.
We’ll likely put the following items in the box:
Letters to our partner
Letters to our future selves
Mementos from the wedding day: guest list, invitation card, menu card,...
(and whatever else comes to mind)
Possible items from you could be:
Wishes and/or advice for our marriage
Letters
Shared memories
...
These are just rough suggestions. If you come up with something completely different, we’d love to be surprised (it just has to be able to survive 5 years in an aluminum box :D). The items can be addressed to both of us or just to one of us. Please write both your own name and the intended recipient’s name on them.
We’d appreciate it if you could prepare something suitable for it.
How can we contribute to the program?
Please contact the best man and maid of honor to coordinate with them: a.k.wintermann@gmail.com
What can we give you as a wedding gift?
Since we’ll be moving to Vietnam shortly after the wedding and already have to leave a lot behind, we’d prefer not to receive physical gifts.
However, we’d really appreciate financial support for the move and setting up our new home in Vietnam. We’ll have a box set up at the wedding.
